Your date, place and words — preview before purchase
When an occasion is close, a personal digital gift can be useful without depending on a parcel. A star map poster lets you choose a shared memory, prepare the design and download the PNG HD after payment is validated. You still need to arrange printing or sharing yourself. Start with what you can realistically prepare today, rather than a promise that checkout, download and printing will all happen within a guaranteed number of seconds.

What to decide before ordering
- Decide how to present it — Choose first whether to show the file, send it yourself or arrange a print.
- Use a memory you know — A date and place you can check make preparation easier without inventing missing details.
- Open the file before gifting — Check the downloaded composition before treating the present as ready to give.
Choose how you will actually give the gift
Before designing the sky, decide what you need to hand over. If you have a suitable printer, you can arrange a home print. If a local print shop is open, check that it accepts PNG files and can handle your request before relying on it. If neither is possible, you could show the file on a screen with a personal note or let the recipient choose their own printing later. A separate card or frame may be part of your preparation, but no physical accessory or postage is included in the digital file purchase.
Pick a memory whose details you know
To move quickly without inventing information, choose a date and place you can verify: a first meeting, a trip or a family event. If the precise time is unknown, use a reference time and explain that choice in your note. You do not need to spend the whole preparation searching for an unavailable detail when another well-documented memory would work. The sky is calculated from the inputs you provide; an attractive preview does not prove those inputs are correct. A specific line about a shared evening can feel more personal than a grand phrase written under pressure.
Keep the composition simple and proofread it
Choose one of the six available styles, add the names and write a short dedication. A line such as ‘For the night we forgot to go home’ could fit a memory you really share. That is a writing suggestion, not a customer testimonial. Before paying, review the whole poster, particularly the date and the text near the bottom. Check spelling, accents and punctuation. The free interactive explorer is designed for discovering the sky; the composition to approve for your gift is the actual poster preview in the configurator.
Pay, download and open the image
Select the €3.99 digital option if you want to avoid physical delivery. After payment validation, use the download access supplied on the website. The file is a watermark-free PNG HD image, 4960 × 7016 pixels at 300 DPI. This offer does not promise an automatic email attachment in a specified number of seconds. Open the image and check that its content matches your creation before considering the gift ready. If an access step fails, keep your order reference and contact support rather than making repeated purchases in an attempt to solve the problem.
Give the file with a clear personal meaning
The recipient needs to know why you chose this sky. Prepare one sentence connecting the date to your shared story, then let them discover the poster without a long technical explanation. If you send the file yourself, choose a method that preserves the original image and respects the recipient’s privacy. A compressed screenshot is not the same as the purchased HD file. When you arrange external printing, turnaround time, paper and cropping depend on your equipment or print provider. Check those practical details separately from the digital purchase, especially if the occasion is later the same day.
Choose a file or a delivered print
The digital option costs €3.99: a watermark-free, 4960 × 7016 pixel PNG HD file at 300 DPI, available to download on the website after payment is validated. A frame and postal delivery are not included in that file. If you prefer a delivered product, the A3 poster is €39.90, A2 is €54.90 and a wooden frame starts at €134.90. The configurator checks availability, destination and any additional charges before payment. The total displayed at that step is the amount to review. Decide first where the gift will go and how you plan to present it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I give this without waiting for shipping?
Yes, if you choose the digital PNG HD file. You arrange any printing or sharing afterwards. Delivered posters and frames have separate availability and delivery conditions.
Is a download within thirty seconds guaranteed?
No. Access depends on payment validation and the purchase flow working correctly. Check that you can open the file before planning to present it.
Is a star dedication certificate included?
No. A symbolic dedication certificate is a different product with a separate PDF. This poster represents the sky for your chosen date and place.
