407 locally calculated cities across 21 countries, with five genuinely different sky experiences

This directory is the front door to Starry Memory's international city collection. It does not treat New York, Oslo, Singapore and Sydney as interchangeable keywords: latitude changes the celestial horizon, longitude changes the sky's rotation at a given clock time, and timezone history determines which instant a local date actually represents. Choose a market, open a city, then test that location in the free gyroscope sky before deciding whether a poster belongs in the story.

Why choose Starry Memory

  • One navigable international structure — Market hubs connect cities by geography, currency and language so visitors and search engines can understand the collection without relying on a sitemap alone.
  • A working free experience on every city page — Each city opens the free sky tool with its coordinates and timezone context. The local page answers a real task before it presents an optional product.
  • Different hemispheres are treated differently — Sydney and Auckland use a southern viewpoint, Singapore sits near the celestial equator, and Nordic cities explain their long twilight and circumpolar sky.
  • International delivery is checked live — The HD file is available worldwide. For prints and frames, Checkout verifies the exact format and destination, then shows any delivery supplement before payment.

A place is not decorative metadata on a star map. It is one of the inputs that decides the celestial view. This directory makes that fact visible: every route begins with a real city or an exact searched address, opens a useful free exploration, and only then offers a printable keepsake.

How to choose the right local guide

Start with the country or market that contains your memory, not necessarily the country where the recipient lives. A couple in Toronto can commemorate the evening they met in Dublin; a family in London can map a birth in Singapore. The city page supplies a reliable centre point and local timezone, while the autocomplete field lets you replace that shortcut with the actual hospital, wedding venue, beach, restaurant or family home. The selected suggestion provides the coordinates used in the calculation.

What changes when the city changes

Latitude sets the angle of the celestial poles and which parts of the celestial sphere can rise above the horizon. Longitude and local civil time determine the rotation of the sky for the selected instant. Historical daylight-saving rules matter too: two cities showing the same clock time may represent different moments in universal time. That is why the collection stores coordinates and IANA timezones instead of changing only the place name in a heading.

A free local-sky journey before the product

Every city guide sends visitors first to a genuine interactive result. Choose a date, move a compatible phone and use the gyroscope as a window into that calculated sky. Star labels and constellation guides help turn the view into something understandable rather than a decorative cloud of dots. This free step is intentionally useful on its own. If the moment deserves a physical place in the home, the same date and location can then continue into the poster editor.

Markets selected from observed demand and buying conditions

The catalogue combines countries already producing Search Console impressions with markets where online buying and digital downloads are common. Older generic city guides remain live, while each gift-intent page has a separate URL and links back to the relevant guide when one exists. Impressions, clicks, free-tool use and completed purchases can now be compared by market. A city that earns no useful engagement is improved, consolidated or removed from the index rather than multiplied indefinitely.

Local content without pretending to be a local shop

Starry Memory is a French brand and does not claim offices in the listed cities. The HD file is available on the website after payment; printed formats are produced on demand and offered only after the exact destination has passed an availability and delivery-price check. Pages explain the relevant local currency but do not publish a made-up exchange rate or universal delivery time. This keeps the guides commercially honest while allowing one astronomical engine to serve memories anywhere on Earth.

Five useful jobs for every qualified city

The live architecture uses 407 qualified cities and five different tasks: personalised gift, sky tonight, darkness calendar, visible constellations and locally filtered eclipse calendar. Those are not five rewritten sales pitches. Each family exposes a different calculation or interactive result, and all five have passed the publication checks before entering the sitemap. This gate is what makes scale compatible with usefulness.

Frequently asked questions

Which countries are included in the international collection?

The directory covers 407 cities in 21 countries: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

What if my city is not listed?

Use the free place search and select any city, village, venue or street suggestion. The listed pages are curated entry points, not a limit on where the astronomical engine works.

Is the local sky tool free?

Yes. Date, location, protected preview and phone-gyroscope exploration are available without payment. The optional paid item is the watermark-free 4960 × 7016 px print file.

Why are prices not converted into every local currency?

Checkout is charged in euros. A fixed conversion on a static page would become inaccurate, so the issuing bank or card provider displays the current amount in the buyer's currency.

Can a printed poster be delivered internationally?

Yes, when the selected Gelato format is available for that destination. The configurator checks product availability, any international delivery supplement and the estimated window before payment. The HD file remains available everywhere.

How is page quality controlled at this scale?

A city needs a GeoNames record, valid coordinates, an IANA timezone, calculated local datasets, useful internal links and a functioning tool before its pages can enter the sitemap. Obvious districts duplicating a parent city are excluded.
