You choose an actual catalogue entry then a dedication name, recipient and message. The document associates this personalization with the scientific reference of the star in the Starry Memory private registry, after verification of payment and confirmation of assignment. It does not confer ownership or change the astronomical name. The date listed commemorates your event, without asserting that the target was over a particular location at that time.
A sky map shows the sky calculated for a date and place
The sky-map creator uses a date and location to compose the corresponding sky representation, with its own style and product options. It is suitable when your intention is to recall the birth of a child, an encounter or a ceremony through the entire celestial scene. Check the information entered and the product format you select. A digital poster and a physical version do not require the same preparation for presenting the gift and should not be confused.
Choose the result that matches your gift idea
Ask yourself what you would like to explain when giving the gift. “I dedicated this star with these words” corresponds to the certificate; “here is the sky of this time and place” describes a sky map. The digital certificate includes two A4 pages, certificate and guide, without a frame or posted parcel. Purchasing one does not automatically unlock the other or trigger a printing of the poster. Compare the price and conditions of the actual selection in each product before paying, then check the document or media actually ordered.
