The place of an animal in one's life is often told through habits: a walk, a welcome at the door or a presence during work. A star dedication can preserve these moments, if the person receiving it desires this type of keepsake.

Choose a detail that captures the pet’s character
Ask which memory makes the recipient smile despite the absence: a nap in an unlikely place, a favorite toy, a recognizable noise. The name alone can suffice for the dedication; a short sentence then recalls what made the relationship special. Avoid anecdotes that the recipient associates with a period of illness or a painful decision, unless they themselves have expressed the wish to mention them.
Respect grief without setting a timetable
Do not compare this pain to that of other people or suggest that a new animal could replace the one that died. Words like “it was just an animal” or “you have to move on” don’t help personalize a memory. Prefer to recognize the bond experienced. If you are giving the gift to someone else, ask beforehand whether the gift would be welcome and leave the choice of the moment of presenting the gift, without expecting a particular reaction.
Use an honest, meaningful image
The dedication associates a name with a real star in a private registry. It does not mean that the animal has become the star and does not constitute proof of a belief about the afterlife. You can use a metaphor if it fits the recipient's words. After confirmation, review the PDF and keep the sharing private. A print displayed beside a photograph is possible if the person wishes; no frame, personal photograph or posted parcel is included with the digital certificate.
