A private star dedication: choose what you share
A personal gift may contain a first name, a date or a story that the recipient does not wish to make public. Before creating a dedication, decide what should appear on the document, what can be shared, and what should remain in your relationship.

Include only the details the keepsake needs
A chosen first name or nickname is often enough. An address, telephone number, health information or administrative history do not necessarily add value to the gift. For a child or a bereaved person, ask the relatives concerned what data can be used. A full date can be replaced in the story with a period when precision is not necessary, by consciously choosing the date of the certificate. Avoid publicly telling a story that primarily belongs to the recipient.
Separate the public star name from private fields
Publishing the star name is a separate choice from personalizing the certificate. If you enable it, the name entered can itself reveal an identity or event, even if the recipient, message, and email fields remain private. Keeping the post disabled allows you to give the gift without exposing that name in the public catalogue. If you want to make it visible, first ask for the person's consent and proofread the exact content intended to appear.
Share the certificate without exposing order access
Keep the confirmed PDF and use a private channel to transmit it. Private access to the order may enable actions or reveal information not intended for a social network; do not confuse it with a possible public verification link. Before showing a screenshot of the certificate, hide personal elements or ask the recipient's consent. Removing a name from public display does not necessarily remove internal attribution or previously shared copies. The simplest thing is to limit the distribution from the start and let the person choose their own use of the memory.
